Senior MongoDB Specialist – Query Optimization Initiative

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a multi‑tenant feature set for its B2B platform. We need a MongoDB Specialist on a project‑based engagement to design, implement, and optimize the data layer that will serve dozens of tenants securely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a multi‑tenant schema that isolates tenant data while enabling shared resources
• Implement sharding, indexing, and aggregation pipelines for high‑throughput queries
• Write migration scripts to transition existing data to the new model
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate MongoDB operations into Node.js services
• Set up monitoring, backup, and disaster‑recovery processes

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of MongoDB design and performance tuning
• Deep understanding of multi‑tenant architectures and data security
• Proficiency with Node.js and JavaScript ecosystem
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes deployments
• Knowledge of GraphQL integration with MongoDB
