About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay live 24/7. We need a Node.js Developer to redesign core services, improve performance, and ensure zero‑downtime deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor monolithic Node.js code into modular micro‑services
• Implement blue‑green and canary release pipelines for seamless updates
• Design and expose new REST APIs while preserving existing contracts
• Integrate automated health checks and monitoring for instant rollback
• Collaborate with QA to create integration tests that run in CI

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Deep understanding of JavaScript asynchronous patterns
• Proven track record building robust REST API services
• Familiarity with zero‑downtime deployment strategies

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
