About the role

CoreData Systems is enhancing its operations data pipeline to deliver real‑time analytics for internal teams. We need a PHP Developer who can design, build, and optimise backend services that ingest, transform, and expose operational metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable ETL processes using PHP and Laravel
• Integrate MySQL data stores with external APIs and message queues
• Develop RESTful endpoints that power dashboards for ops analysts
• Write automated tests and ensure code meets performance benchmarks
• Collaborate with data engineers to align schema design with analytics needs

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP (7+ years)
• Deep experience with Laravel framework
• Advanced MySQL query optimisation and schema design
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL patterns, and API integration

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerised deployments
• Experience with analytics tools such as Looker or Power BI
• Knowledge of message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka
