About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching an integration project that links its billing platform, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to design, implement, and fine‑tune the data layer that will support seamless data flow across these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and configure PostgreSQL clusters for high availability and low latency.
• Develop ETL pipelines to synchronize billing records with CRM entities.
• Optimize queries and indexes for API‑driven data access patterns.
• Implement backup, recovery, and monitoring solutions aligned with project milestones.
• Collaborate with dev teams to embed database best practices into CI/CD pipelines.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments.
• Strong SQL performance tuning and schema design expertise.
• Experience integrating PostgreSQL with billing, CRM, or similar SaaS platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MongoDB or MySQL for hybrid data solutions.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for database containerization.
• Certification in PostgreSQL or related technologies.
