Senior Terraform Engineer Needed for Infrastructure Automation

About the role

Orbit Labs is launching a critical product and needs a Terraform Engineer to uplift test automation, reducing regression risk before go‑live. You will design infrastructure‑as‑code that powers reliable test pipelines and integrates with existing CI/CD workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Write modular Terraform code to provision AWS test environments on demand
• Integrate Terraform with CI/CD tools to spin up/tear down resources for automated test suites
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test environment specifications
• Implement state management, versioning, and security best practices
• Document infrastructure patterns and handover procedures

Must-have skills

• Proven experience with Terraform in AWS ecosystems
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to script and automate test environment lifecycles
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
• Knowledge of container orchestration (EKS, ECS)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
