Senior TypeScript Developer – Scalable UI Component Architecture

About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a TypeScript Developer who can fortify codebases, audit dependencies, and embed security best practices while keeping performance intact.

Key responsibilities

• Review and refactor existing TypeScript services to eliminate vulnerable patterns
• Implement strict type checks and linting rules that enforce security standards
• Integrate automated security scans into CI pipelines and act on findings
• Collaborate with DevOps to enforce least‑privilege IAM configurations for cloud resources
• Document security guidelines and provide knowledge‑transfer sessions for the engineering team

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of TypeScript development experience
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices
• Proficiency with Angular and React frameworks
• Experience securing serverless functions and containerized workloads

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) security services
• Knowledge of SAST/DAST tools and remediation workflows
