Terraform Engineer – Release Engineering Rollout

About the role

We are launching a greenfield SaaS product and need a Terraform Engineer to design the infrastructure foundation. You will work with a remote‑first team, translating architecture concepts into reusable IaC modules and ensuring seamless cloud provisioning.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Terraform code for multi‑region AWS environments
• Integrate Terraform pipelines into CI/CD workflows
• Collaborate with developers to define networking, security, and storage requirements
• Maintain state management, versioning, and documentation of all IaC assets
• Conduct peer reviews and enforce best practices for infrastructure code

Must-have skills

• Proven experience writing production‑grade Terraform for AWS
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tooling
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues quickly
• Excellent communication in a distributed team

Nice to have

• Experience with Terragrunt or Terraform Cloud
• Knowledge of serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus
