About the role

Vertex Analytics is enhancing its test automation framework to cut regression risk before product launches. We need a TypeScript Developer who can design, extend, and integrate automated test suites across our web applications. This contract role focuses on building robust, maintainable scripts that accelerate release confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement TypeScript‑based test automation for UI and API layers
• Integrate tests into CI pipelines and ensure reliable execution
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Maintain test data, mock services, and reporting dashboards
• Identify flaky tests and continuously improve stability

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
• Hands‑on experience with Angular or React test frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control (Git)
• Ability to write clear, reusable, and well‑documented code

Nice to have

• Familiarity with performance testing tools
• Experience in cloud‑based testing environments
• Knowledge of accessibility testing standards
