About the role

We are modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. The project focuses on refactoring core services, introducing a typed front‑end stack, and ensuring zero‑downtime deployments. You will join a small, agile team to drive the transition from legacy code to a scalable, maintainable architecture while keeping the live system fully operational.

Key responsibilities

• Rewrite critical UI components using Angular and React with strict TypeScript typing.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design API contracts that support seamless feature toggles.
• Implement automated testing and CI pipelines that validate zero‑downtime release criteria.
• Monitor performance metrics and address regressions in real time.
• Document migration patterns and share knowledge with the wider team.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Angular, and React.
• Experience modernizing legacy codebases with zero‑downtime goals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part‑time setting.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with server‑side rendering or Next.js.
