Key Responsibilities

• Create highly detailed, realistic 3D models and textures for various projects, including animations, simulations, and virtual environments.
• Develop and maintain accurate, efficient modeling techniques to ensure high-quality results within tight deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with the art director, designers, and other modelers to ensure consistency and cohesion across all projects.
• Utilize proficiency in 3D software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max to create complex models and scenes.
• Work with lighting and rendering teams to ensure models are optimized for efficient rendering and meet the project's visual requirements.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss concepts, review progress, and provide feedback to the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, software updates, and new technologies to continually improve skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to the development of project-specific tools and scripts to streamline workflows and increase productivity.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior modelers to help them improve their skills and grow within the company.
• Perform thorough quality checks on all models before submitting them for review, ensuring accuracy and quality meet the project's standards.
• Maintain a high level of organization and version control, adhering to the company's asset management guidelines.
• Collaborate with the project management team to estimate project timelines, resource allocation, and potential risks.
• Develop and implement processes for modeling, texturing, and other related tasks to improve efficiency and consistency.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field such as 3D Modeling, Animation, Fine Arts, or Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a 3D Modeler, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in 3D modeling software, with a strong focus on Blender or similar tools.
• Excellent understanding of color theory, lighting, and composition, with the ability to create visually appealing, high-quality models.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in team environments.
• Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality results.
• Portfolio that demonstrates exceptional modeling skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management tools and version control systems, such as Git or Perforce.
• Certainty in time management, prioritization, and self-motivation, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or MEL, is a plus.
