About the role

Cascade Apps is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to redesign key interfaces, improve load times, and ensure consistent behavior across browsers. You will work closely with backend engineers and QA to deliver a smooth, fast user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing Vue components for speed and maintainability
• Implement lazy‑loading, code‑splitting, and caching strategies
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest or Cypress
• Collaborate with designers to uphold visual consistency
• Monitor performance metrics and address bottlenecks

Must-have skills

• 2+ years of Vue.js development
• Strong grasp of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience optimizing front‑end performance
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and state management (Vuex/Pinia)
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Webpack/Vite configuration
• Background in accessibility compliance
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for front‑end code
