About the role

NexGen Media is expanding its digital marketing platform with a microservices‑based architecture. We need an experienced architect to design, implement, and guide the rollout of scalable services that support high‑volume campaign data and real‑time analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Define microservice boundaries and communication patterns
• Design API contracts and data models for cross‑team consumption
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security best practices
• Mentor developers and review code for architectural compliance

Must-have skills

• 5+ years designing and deploying microservices
• Strong Java development experience
• Proficiency with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and event‑driven systems

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of distributed tracing and monitoring tools
• Familiarity with DevOps culture and automated testing
