About the role

CoreData Systems is modernizing its data platform to support high‑throughput analytics. We need a senior Platform Engineer to design, implement, and automate the core infrastructure that powers our streaming pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable, secure cloud environments on AWS.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system health, set up alerts, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with data engineers to optimize resource usage.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Strong proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes administration.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid scripting skills in Bash/Python.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
