Android Developer Needed for Automated Push Notification Integration

About the role

BrightMart Solutions is enhancing its test automation framework to lower regression risk before each launch. We need a part‑time Android Developer to embed robust automated UI tests into the CI pipeline and improve coverage across our flagship apps.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Espresso and UI Automator test suites for new and existing features
• Integrate automated tests with GitHub Actions or Bitrise for nightly runs
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to define flaky‑test mitigation strategies
• Maintain test data factories and mock services for reliable execution
• Document test scenarios and contribute to shared best‑practice guidelines

Must-have skills

• 2+ years of Android development with Kotlin and Java
• Hands‑on experience writing UI automation using Espresso or UI Automator
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and test result reporting
• Understanding of Android architecture components and modular codebases

Nice to have

• Experience with Firebase Test Lab or similar cloud testing platforms
• Knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Jetpack Compose testing
• Background in performance testing or static analysis tools
