About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a brand‑new SaaS solution and needs an Android Developer to shape the mobile experience from day one. You will work with a remote‑first team, turning product concepts into a polished, user‑centric app.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core Android features for a greenfield product
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define APIs
• Write clean, maintainable Kotlin and Java code with unit tests
• Ensure performance, security, and accessibility standards
• Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android
• Experience building scalable apps with modern Android architecture components
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON handling
• Familiarity with Git and CI pipelines

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose
• Experience with Firebase or other cloud services
• Background in SaaS product development
