About the role

CoreData Systems is preparing a coordinated launch of a new app store offering. We need an Android Developer to bridge the mobile UI with backend services, ensuring smooth data flow and performance at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Implement feature‑rich screens in Kotlin, adhering to Material Design guidelines
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle authentication flows
• Optimize app startup time and memory usage for diverse devices
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define data contracts and error handling
• Write unit and UI tests to maintain code quality

Must-have skills

• Strong Kotlin and Java proficiency for Android
• Experience with Android Jetpack components and MVVM architecture
• Understanding of networking libraries (Retrofit, OkHttp) and JSON parsing
• Ability to debug performance bottlenecks and memory leaks

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
• Exposure to cloud services (Firebase, AWS)
• Knowledge of modern testing frameworks (Espresso, Robolectric)
