Android Developer Needed for Mobile Offline Sync Overhaul

About the role

We are building a robust data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. As an Android Developer, you will craft native mobile components that surface real‑time insights and allow seamless interaction with backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Android UI flows for data visualization dashboards
• Integrate with RESTful and gRPC APIs to fetch and push operational metrics
• Optimize app performance for low‑latency data streams on diverse devices
• Collaborate with data engineers to define data contracts and error handling
• Write unit and UI tests to ensure reliability in production

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android
• Experience with Android Jetpack components and MVVM architecture
• Familiarity with networking libraries (Retrofit, OkHttp) and JSON parsing
• Understanding of background processing and WorkManager for data sync

Nice to have

• Exposure to data analytics tools or libraries (e.g., MPAndroidChart)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
• Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
