About the role

CloudWave Digital is scaling its product launch pipeline and needs a Cybersecurity Analyst to lead a test automation uplift. You will focus on reducing regression risk by embedding security‑focused automated tests into the CI process.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated security regression suites for web and API services
• Integrate static and dynamic analysis tools into existing pipelines
• Collaborate with developers to define test cases that capture common threat scenarios
• Monitor test results, triage failures, and recommend remediation
• Document test frameworks and provide knowledge‑transfer sessions

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of application security testing methodologies
• Hands‑on experience with Python scripting for test automation
• Proficiency in Linux environments and command‑line tooling
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Nice to have

• Experience with OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite automation
• Knowledge of container security scanning
• Previous work on regression risk metrics
