Cybersecurity Analyst Needed for High-Volume Security Audit

About the role

Orbit Labs is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to design and implement security controls that support zero‑downtime deployments while protecting critical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for the modernization pipeline
• Develop and enforce security policies for CI/CD, container orchestration, and cloud services
• Integrate automated vulnerability scanning and remediation into build workflows
• Monitor security events in real time and respond to incidents without service interruption
• Collaborate with developers and ops to embed security best practices early in the code lifecycle

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and access controls
• Hands‑on experience with security tooling (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python
• Solid Linux administration and hardening experience

Nice to have

• Experience with zero‑trust architectures
• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
