About the role

Summit Digital is launching a high‑impact product and needs a Java Developer to uplift test automation and cut regression risk before release. You will work closely with QA leads and product owners to design a robust automation framework that scales with upcoming features.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement automated test suites for core microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Integrate tests into CI pipelines to provide fast feedback on code changes
• Collaborate with developers to identify flaky tests and improve test stability
• Document test strategies, scripts, and results for stakeholder visibility
• Mentor junior team members on best practices in test automation

Must-have skills

• Strong Java development experience (3+ years)
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and building microservice‑based applications
• Hands‑on experience creating and maintaining automated test frameworks
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Nice to have

• Experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber
• Knowledge of performance testing tools
• Background in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
