About the role

NexGen Media seeks an experienced Cloud Security Architect to design and implement robust security controls across multi‑cloud environments. You will lead the security strategy for cloud workloads, ensuring compliance and resilience against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce cloud security architecture standards and policies.
• Design secure network segmentation, identity, and access management for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud services.
• Implement automated security controls using Infrastructure as Code.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on secure cloud practices.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in cloud security frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST).
• Extensive experience securing AWS environments.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with security automation and scripting.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty or CCSK.
• Experience with security monitoring and SIEM integration.
