About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a critical product upgrade and needs a .NET Core Developer to lead test automation uplift. The goal is to cut regression risk and ensure a smooth launch by building robust automated suites.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end test automation using .NET Core and Azure pipelines
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD to run on every build
• Collaborate with QA and dev teams to identify high‑risk areas and create test cases
• Maintain test scripts, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve coverage
• Document automation frameworks and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• Strong .NET Core development experience
• Proficiency in C# and unit/integration testing frameworks
• Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools
• Understanding of test automation best practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to have

• Experience with Selenium or Playwright
• Familiarity with micro‑service architectures
• Knowledge of performance testing tools
