About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a .NET Core Developer to reinforce codebases, audit configurations, and embed security best practices into our services.

Key responsibilities

• Review and refactor existing .NET Core services to address OWASP risks
• Implement authentication, authorization, and encryption using Azure services
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to integrate security scans into CI pipelines
• Write unit and integration tests that validate hardened logic
• Document security patterns and provide knowledge transfer to the team

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with .NET Core and C# development
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services and security features
• Understanding of secure coding practices and threat modeling
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote setting

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Key Vault or Managed Identities
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes
• Background in penetration testing or security audits
