About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a focused sprint to tighten CI/CD pipelines and automate platform releases. We need a Node.js Developer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune automation scripts that accelerate deployment cycles while maintaining reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and extend CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Develop Node.js micro‑services that orchestrate build, test, and deployment steps
• Integrate automated testing and code quality checks into the pipeline
• Document pipeline architecture and provide knowledge transfer to the ops team
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures, ensuring rapid rollback capabilities

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express
• Proficient in JavaScript and REST API design
• Hands‑on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and version control (Git)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kubernetes or cloud‑native deployments
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
