About the role

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our team for a short‑term project focused on building a high‑performance backend service. You will work closely with our product team to deliver a scalable API that supports real‑time data processing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Integrate with MongoDB for data storage and retrieval.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
• Optimize performance and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to define API contracts.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proficiency in building REST APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with MongoDB.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architecture.
• Familiarity with version control (Git).

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker containerization.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
