Node.js Developer – Service Reliability Rollout

About the role

CloudWave Digital is launching a security hardening initiative for its suite of cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Node.js Developer to strengthen authentication flows, tighten data validation, and implement security best practices across our services.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Node.js codebases for security gaps and propose fixes
• Implement token‑based authentication and role‑based access controls
• Integrate input sanitization, rate limiting, and CSP headers
• Write unit and integration tests to verify security enhancements
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure secure deployment pipelines

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript security patterns
• Proven ability to design and secure REST APIs
• Familiarity with OWASP guidelines and threat modeling

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Previous work on security audits for SaaS products
