About the role

Vertex Analytics is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a QA Software Tester to design and execute tests that validate security controls, data protection, and resilience against threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test plans focused on authentication, authorization, and encryption validation.
• Automate regression suites using Selenium to cover critical security flows.
• Perform penetration‑test style manual checks and report findings.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to integrate security test results into CI pipelines.
• Document defects, track remediation, and verify fixes.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in QA testing for cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks.
• Understanding of security testing methodologies and OWASP guidelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with container security tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of scripting languages for custom test utilities.
