About the role
CoreData Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a QA Software Tester to design and execute tests that validate security controls, data protection mechanisms, and compliance checkpoints throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain manual and automated test cases focused on authentication, authorization, and encryption features.
- Execute vulnerability regression suites and report findings in a clear, actionable format.
- Collaborate with developers and security engineers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
- Participate in threat modeling reviews and suggest test scenarios for emerging risks.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability to security requirements.
Must-have skills
- Proven experience in functional and security testing of SaaS applications.
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and cloud security best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with Selenium for UI automation.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated security scanning tools.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
