About the role

NexGen Media is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a React Native Developer to embed security best practices directly into our mobile codebase, ensuring data protection and compliance across Android and iOS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing React Native code for security vulnerabilities and remediate issues.
• Implement secure storage, encryption, and authentication flows.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate hardened APIs.
• Write unit and integration tests focused on security scenarios.
• Document security guidelines for future developers.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience with React Native in production apps.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and async patterns.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Android and iOS security features.
• Familiarity with OWASP Mobile Top 10 guidelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
• Background in cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of secure code review tools.
