REST API Developer for Automated Third-Party Integrations

About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching an integration project that links billing, CRM, and internal services. We need a REST API Developer to design, build, and maintain the connectors that keep data flowing securely and reliably across systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful endpoints for billing and CRM synchronization
• Develop middleware to translate data formats between internal APIs
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with product owners to define integration requirements
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues in production

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design and queries
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with billing platforms such as Stripe or Recurly
• Experience integrating popular CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) for local development
