About the role

CoreData Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need an Android Developer to embed advanced security controls, perform threat modeling, and ensure compliance across the mobile client stack.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate encryption, secure storage, and certificate pinning into existing Android codebases.
• Conduct code reviews focused on security best practices and remediate findings.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to implement secure API authentication flows.
• Write automated tests that validate security features and regressions.
• Document security implementations and provide guidance to the wider mobile team.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Kotlin and Java on Android.
• Deep understanding of Android security APIs, permissions, and secure networking.
• Proven ability to perform threat modeling and vulnerability assessment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP) security integrations.
• Knowledge of OWASP Mobile Top 10.
• Previous work on security‑focused mobile projects.
