About the role

Summit Digital is launching a new product line and needs an AWS Cloud Engineer to uplift test automation. The focus is on reducing regression risk before launch by building robust, scalable pipelines that integrate with existing CI/CD workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks on AWS using Lambda, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline.
• Containerize test suites with Docker and orchestrate execution in ECS/EKS.
• Integrate security and compliance checks into the automation flow.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test coverage and reporting metrics.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of test environments.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, S3).
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Solid DevOps mindset with CI/CD pipeline expertise.
• Linux administration and scripting skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python or JavaScript for test script development.
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
