Senior AWS Cloud Engineer Needed for Production Infrastructure Setup

About the role

NovaForge Tech is modernizing a legacy production platform with a zero‑downtime mandate. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and validate the migration while ensuring continuous availability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a multi‑AZ, auto‑scaling environment using CloudFormation or Terraform
• Migrate databases and services with blue‑green and canary strategies
• Implement CI/CD pipelines that incorporate automated testing and roll‑backs
• Monitor performance and cost, tuning resources for optimal throughput
• Collaborate with developers to containerize workloads with Docker

Must-have skills

• 5+ years designing AWS infrastructures for production workloads
• Deep experience with Docker, CI/CD tools, and Linux administration
• Proven track record of zero‑downtime deployments and migrations
• Strong scripting skills (Shell/Python) for automation

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks like CloudWatch, Prometheus
• Knowledge of security best practices and IAM policy design
