About the role
AlphaEdge Tech is building a next‑generation decentralized finance platform that requires robust, secure smart contracts. As a Senior Blockchain Engineer you will design, develop, and deploy core contract logic that powers token swaps, staking, and governance features. You will collaborate with product and security teams to ensure the solution meets performance and compliance standards. This short‑term engagement focuses on delivering production‑ready contracts within a tight timeline.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement Solidity smart contracts for core DeFi modules
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Hardhat or Truffle
- Perform gas optimization and cost analysis
- Integrate contracts with front‑end dApp via Web3 libraries
- Document contract interfaces and deployment procedures
- Participate in code reviews and security audits
Must-have skills
- Expertise in Solidity and Ethereum VM
- Proficiency with JavaScript and Python for tooling
- Experience building and testing REST API bridges
- Strong understanding of blockchain security best practices
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code under tight deadlines
