Senior CI/CD Pipeline Engineer Needed for Mission-Critical Kubernetes Deployment

About the role

CoreData Systems is launching a greenfield SaaS product and needs a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design end‑to‑end automation for a remote‑first team. You will own the pipeline architecture, ensuring fast, reliable releases while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD workflows for microservices using GitHub Actions or similar
• Containerize applications and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes
• Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and monitoring into the pipeline
• Collaborate with developers to streamline build processes and resolve bottlenecks
• Document pipeline standards and provide knowledge‑sharing sessions

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑native applications
• Strong command of Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Hands‑on with AWS services (ECS/EKS, CodePipeline, CloudFormation)
• Solid scripting ability (Bash, Python) and infrastructure‑as‑code mindset
• Understanding of DevOps best practices and version control workflows

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
• Background in security automation (SAST/DAST)
