About the role
Orbit Labs is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to assess, design, and implement protective controls across our AWS and Azure environments.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for SaaS workloads
- Develop and enforce security baselines, IAM policies, and network segmentation
- Automate vulnerability scanning and remediation using Python scripts
- Collaborate with developers to embed security into CI/CD pipelines
- Produce concise findings reports and remediation roadmaps
Must-have skills
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure)
- Hands‑on experience with security tooling (e.g., GuardDuty, Azure Security Center)
- Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting
- Solid Linux administration background
Nice to have
- Certification such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Security Specialty
- Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001)
