Senior Database Administrator Needed for Performance Tuning Delivery

About the role

TechFlow Inc is launching a rapid CI/CD and platform automation sprint to accelerate release cycles. We need a Database Administrator who can design, implement, and fine‑tune automated database workflows that integrate seamlessly with our pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Configure automated schema migrations and version control for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Build CI/CD jobs that provision, test, and roll back database changes safely.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed database health checks into monitoring dashboards.
• Optimize query performance and index strategies for high‑throughput deployments.
• Document standards and create runbooks for future automation cycles.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB in production.
• Hands‑on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar pipeline tools.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation.
• Understanding of containerized database deployments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with cloud‑native databases (AWS RDS, Azure Cosmos DB).
