Senior Docker Kubernetes Specialist Needed for CI/CD Pipeline Setup

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is scaling its micro‑services platform and needs a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, deploy, and optimize container orchestration across cloud environments. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high‑performance infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Kubernetes clusters on AWS/GCP/Azure
• Create and maintain Docker images, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor cluster health, performance, and cost, applying autoscaling and resource quotas
• Troubleshoot networking, storage, and security issues in containerized workloads
• Document best practices and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
• Knowledge of security frameworks (OPA, RBAC)
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
