About the role

Summit Digital is launching a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a Frontend React Developer who can redesign critical UI pathways, reduce load times, and ensure a rock‑solid user experience across browsers.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing React components for speed and maintainability
• Implement lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies
• Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize API consumption
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library
• Conduct performance audits and address bottlenecks

Must-have skills

• Strong expertise in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Proven track record of improving front‑end performance
• Experience with modern state management (Redux, Zustand, or Context)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Web Vitals and Lighthouse reporting
• Experience with Next.js or Gatsby
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
