About the role

Orbit Labs is launching a critical product and needs a Microservices Architect to uplift test automation and cut regression risk. You will design a resilient microservice ecosystem that supports automated testing pipelines, ensuring stable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a microservice architecture aligned with automated test suites
• Integrate Docker and Kubernetes for scalable test environments
• Collaborate with QA leads to embed contract‑based testing into CI/CD
• Establish monitoring and fault‑tolerance patterns for test services
• Document architectural decisions and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing microservice architectures
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Java
• Strong background in test automation frameworks
• Ability to translate business risk into technical safeguards

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of performance testing tools
