About the role

BrightMart Solutions is launching a brand‑new SaaS offering and needs a Microservices Architect to shape the core services from scratch. You will define the architecture, guide the team, and ensure the system is resilient, observable, and ready for rapid feature delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document a micro‑services ecosystem using Java and Spring Boot
• Set up container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes for CI/CD pipelines
• Establish API contracts, versioning strategy, and security standards
• Implement monitoring, logging, and automated scaling policies
• Mentor developers on best practices and code quality

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing micro‑service architectures
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Java ecosystems
• Strong grasp of REST/ gRPC, event‑driven patterns, and cloud‑native design
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
• Familiarity with observability stacks like Prometheus & Grafana
• Background in greenfield product launches for remote teams
