About the role

DataPro Services is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need a Microservices Architect to design a zero‑downtime migration path and lead the implementation of a container‑based, cloud‑native architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the existing monolith and define microservice boundaries.
• Design API contracts, event streams, and data‑ownership models.
• Create a rollout plan that guarantees zero‑downtime deployments.
• Guide the team in Docker and Kubernetes best practices.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and monitoring for the new services.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing and deploying microservice architectures.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Java ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of zero‑downtime deployment strategies.
• Ability to produce clear architectural diagrams and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Istio or service mesh technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Background in legacy system refactoring.
