About the role

Vertex Analytics is launching a security hardening initiative for its suite of cloud‑hosted applications. We need a seasoned .NET Core Developer to reinforce authentication, data protection, and runtime security across microservices running in Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing .NET Core services for security gaps and implement mitigations.
• Integrate Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, and RBAC into deployment pipelines.
• Refactor code to adopt secure coding standards and threat‑modeling practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security checks in CI/CD.
• Document findings and provide knowledge‑transfer sessions for the internal team.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of .NET Core development experience.
• Strong expertise in C# and Azure cloud services.
• Hands‑on experience with security frameworks, OWASP guidelines, and encryption.
• Proven ability to write clean, testable code and unit tests.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes security.
• Experience with automated security scanning tools.
• Certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate.
