About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and platform releases. We need a Node.js Developer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune automation scripts that accelerate delivery cycles while maintaining stability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and extend CI/CD workflows using Node.js and scripting tools
• Integrate automated testing, linting, and security checks into pipelines
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize services and manage environment variables
• Document pipeline architecture and create runbooks for future teams
• Monitor release metrics and propose optimizations for faster rollouts

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Proficiency in JavaScript and REST API development
• Ability to write clean, maintainable automation code

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
