About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a focused sprint to automate its CI/CD pipelines and streamline platform releases. We need a seasoned Node.js developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune automation scripts that accelerate delivery cycles while maintaining high reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build Node.js services that integrate with Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, and container registries.
• Create reusable CI/CD templates and scripts for automated testing, building, and deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to embed quality gates and monitoring.
• Document workflows and provide knowledge transfer for ongoing maintenance.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Node.js development experience.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
• Strong grasp of REST API design and security best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Background in automated testing frameworks.
