About the role

We are modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. The project demands zero‑downtime migration while refactoring core services for future scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Rewrite critical PHP modules using Laravel best practices
• Design and implement database schema changes in MySQL with zero‑downtime migration scripts
• Integrate new APIs while preserving existing contract compatibility
• Set up automated testing and CI pipelines to catch regressions early
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth blue‑green deployments

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of PHP development, strong OOP fundamentals
• Proficiency with Laravel framework and its ecosystem
• Deep experience in MySQL performance tuning and zero‑downtime migrations

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or similar containerization tools
• Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
