Senior PHP Developer Needed for Laravel API Build

About the role

TechFlow Inc is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a PHP Developer to audit, patch, and reinforce codebases against emerging threats while ensuring seamless performance in a multi‑tenant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security reviews of existing PHP services and identify vulnerabilities.
• Implement hardening measures such as input validation, output encoding, and secure session handling.
• Refactor legacy modules to use modern Laravel security features.
• Integrate automated static analysis and penetration testing into CI pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps to enforce least‑privilege IAM policies for cloud resources.

Must-have skills

• Strong PHP experience with Laravel framework.
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
• Proficiency in MySQL schema design and query optimization.
• Experience securing APIs and handling authentication/authorization.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes security contexts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) security services.
• Previous work on security audits for SaaS products.
