Senior Terraform Engineer – Customer-Facing Infrastructure Setup

About the role

DataPro Services is expanding its analytics platform for operations teams. We need a Terraform Engineer to design and implement infrastructure that powers scalable data pipelines and analytics workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Build reusable Terraform modules for data ingestion, processing, and storage services.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines to automatically provision and update infrastructure across environments.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure networking, security, and IAM policies meet compliance.
• Monitor cost and performance, optimizing resources for high‑throughput analytics.
• Document architecture decisions and create runbooks for operations hand‑off.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Terraform expertise in AWS environments.
• Strong grasp of DevOps principles and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Experience designing data‑pipeline infrastructure (Kinesis, S3, Redshift, or Snowflake).
• Proficient with IaC testing frameworks and version control.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of container orchestration (EKS/ECS).
• Familiarity with data‑ops tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
• Certification in AWS Solutions Architecture.
