Senior Terraform Engineer Needed for Secure Observability Stack Setup

About the role

Vertex Analytics is boosting its test automation framework to cut regression risk before each product launch. We need a Terraform Engineer who can design, implement, and maintain IaC pipelines that provision reliable test environments on demand.

Key responsibilities

• Write modular Terraform code to spin up isolated AWS test stacks
• Integrate Terraform workflows with existing CI/CD pipelines
• Automate environment teardown to optimize cost and speed
• Collaborate with QA leads to embed testing tools into provisioned resources
• Document infrastructure patterns and handover guides for the team

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Terraform experience in production
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM)
• Strong DevOps mindset with CI/CD implementation expertise
• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python) for automation

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress)
• Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS, ECS)
• Knowledge of security best practices for test environments
