About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a rapid‑pace sprint to accelerate its release cadence through CI/CD and platform automation. As a Terraform Infrastructure Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end infrastructure code for the new "Nebula Pipeline" module, ensuring repeatable, secure, and scalable environments on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Terraform modules for the Nebula Pipeline, covering VPC, EKS, and CI/CD runner provisioning.
• Integrate GitHub Actions with Terraform Cloud to automate plan‑apply cycles for each sprint milestone.
• Develop custom Docker images for build agents, embedding required SDKs and security scanners.
• Collaborate with the QA team to embed automated testing hooks into the pipeline and capture metrics.
• Document state‑file management policies and enforce role‑based access using AWS IAM.
• Conduct a mid‑sprint review to benchmark deployment times and iterate on performance improvements.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years Terraform experience with AWS provider.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and image lifecycle management.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation.
• Experience with monitoring infrastructure drift and implementing guardrails.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Sentinel policy as code.
• Exposure to serverless frameworks on AWS.
